Zartan is a mysterious human chameleon whose secrets of deception have never been fully revealed. Is he simply a master of disguise, a manipulator of minds and master of mimicry, or can he actually change his skin color at will to blend in with his surroundings? If these claims are true, there is no doubt that he is a gifted impersonator, ventriloquist, linguist (over twenty languages), acrobatic contortionist and a master of several martial arts. Very little is known of his background, but it is believed that he has a twin brother, Zandar, and a twin sister, Zarana, and is the leader of the Dreadnoks who are believed to have a secret hideout deep in the Florida Everglades.
